My fiancé and I are in our mid-20s. This summer I decided to start looking for a home for our future. My fiancé’s friend was a realtor so we went to her friend for help. In the process, she convinced us to purchase an old double wide. So since she was a friend, we followed her advice, which turned out to be a major mistake. When my mother learned of the mess we were in, she called Terry because he was one of her clients. After she explained our situation, he said that all he could do was suggest a way to get out of the transaction. Terry Morehouse, Broker, SRES


Terry’s first exposure to real estate began in 1976 as a means to augment his highly successful general contracting firm, in the greater Allentown and Philadelphia markets. After surviving the 1980-81 recession, Terry sold his operations, to embark on a new career path with John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company. Eighteen months later, Terry was counted among the top agents in the country, opening the door to membership in the esteemed Pennsylvania Leaders Roundtable, and The distinguished Million Dollar Roundtable. 

In 1985, Terry relocated to Brandon, Florida, to establish Morehouse Financial Services — a Financial / Estate Planning, Multi-line Insurance, Investment, and Tax Accounting firm. As President and CEO, Terry was licensed with the NASD as a Registered Investment Adviser. He also held Life and Health Insurance licenses in five states. 

While a member of the Tampa Life Underwriters Association, Terry attained his LUTCF accreditation and then went on to teach Life Insurance and Financial Planning Courses for several years. 

In 1998, Terry sold Morehouse Financial Services and returned Full time to Real Estate  --- relying on his knowledge and experience to approach all of his business with unparalleled professionalism. 

Five years later his broker status set him up to serve as a local Vice President for one of the leading national Real Estate Companies. 

In 2010, Terry formed Terry Morehouse and Associates Realty, and currently serves Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Manatee, and Sarasota Counties. However, evidence that property size, price, location, or a client's age, has no boundaries is a client base that stretches from Pensacola, FL., to Miami, with an exceptionally strong presence in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties.
